Praise God. Great and an easy read This book is amazing. It is an easy read and founded on the truth of God's word. It definitely has caused me to evaluate where I am and apply the teachings. You will find within the pages tons of wisdom and guide in such areas as committing oneself to a life of prayer, personal fellowship with God, staying humble and fasting.
Some of my favorite lines are: "Do away with Spiritual junk food, put the Word of God first place in your life and allow it to strip away all the other things. Break that habit. Perfect for anyone in ministry. This book has broken down your basic requirements for ministry. I found the strife portion most relative to the conflicts that have been plaguing my personal portion recently.
I am pleased with the writing style. It was an easy book to read and understand. I recommend this book to anyone in ministry who wants to improve. There are 6 chapters in this book if I remember correctly and I would take this book for an entire year and read one chapter a week The year of I grew so much in servant hood and I attribute it all to his book. So goes the weekend, so goes your church. Like you, your church can only do so many things and still maintain a level of excellence, so stay true to your vision. Your weekend experiences are the gateway to reach your community. But, not if they are distracting from the main thing.
